WordPress MU DNS settings To run each member’s site on it’s own sub-domain Most hosts run on Apache Version 2.0 and here the creation of the Wildcard DNS entry does not require WHM access. Loading the cPanel x3 theme will do the trick: in x3 just create a sub-domain called “*” (without the quotes) and the problem is solved. If you run on Apache Version 1, just follow the instructions on the MU read-me file as well as Matt’s comments on his blog. Tun run member sites in sub folders There is no need to worry about the DNS settings. BuddyPress Hosting Issues We have not detected any particular hosting problems here: to run a straight forward Buddy Press on MU without too many gimmicks and plug-ins should be possible on most any host. We use ChiHosters where we can provide users with the necessary assistance. For a small set-up, the standard unlimited hosting account at $35 per year will [...]

The problem is: these squeeze pages are not Google efficient and do not generate traffic per se. For this reason, marketers then promote their lead generation page with yet another page or site or with ads, such as the typical work from home ads on Google. Semiomantics Lead Generation Lead Generation requires visibility, high visibility. And visibility we get when our site ranks high on Google search returns relative to our targeted keywords. Conversion is yet another problem: the site must be attractive have good content and for the purpose of lead generation we need an eye catching opt-in without falling into the extreme of being too pushy. In the past we have tried many formulas, such as the typical opt-in form in the top right corner of the blog, [...]

Visit the original article at http://yorgonestoridis.com/yorgo-nestoridis/social-media-marketing-news-123/.Social Media Marketing Automated Social Media require a good input of time. Be it Blogs, Social Networks or any other Web 2.0 platform where personal involvement is required, the time factor plays an important role as in any human relation based context. Marketing involving social media requires therefore a good dose of planning and a solid concept. [kaltura-widget wid=“b3aajyftkg” width=“410” height=“364” addpermission=“0” editpermission=“0” /] Targeting Social Media allow targeting based on internal search tools. Searching means: you have to know to know your targeted keywords, login, search and then invite people to join your list. It’s an active push approach. This approach takes too much time, namely when you are involved in multiple networks. The second approach would be: be open to anyone who wants to join your list and make yourself available under the search terms corresponding to your goals. This is a passive, pull approach.
