Webmasters who have assisted on Friday’s Web Master’s Training have received the first Beta release of the Theme which needs to be tested. Here is a suggestion about how to test the script: After set-up and configuration as we did on Friday, syndicate a known RSS Feed, for example http://yorgoopublishing.com/feed with the goal to beat YORGOO Publishing on quick Google listing. If you have an own author’s blog, syndicate that one or grab mine here at http://yorgonestoridis.com/feed. For the test it’s important not to use over-published feeds. Don’t worry too much about the ads for the time being but check your performance on Google daily.You will be surprised how well you will be doing as the scripts built in are quite aggressive. The main purpose of the blaster is to deliver web masters’ ads to a targeted audience by reaching top 10 listings in any niche on Google based on its semantic framework tuned for aggressive marketing. The Blaster is based on a powerful WordPress script version, stabilized and tuned by Semiomantics. Most of the users of YORGOO Blasters have focused on syndicating Feed streams while neglecting somewhat the mail streaming. Mail streaming and management is a unique feature of the Blaster and we will maintain the feature in a somewhat different form and shape in the new version. Time has come to change and to stabilize YORGOO Publishing to max out over time on its publishing power and to develop it’s successful conquest of targeted niches.  Stopping the experiments on YORGOO Publishing means that we need to rebuild the back-bone of YORGOO Publishing from scratch and to implement the most appropriate script for long term development. During the next few days we will implement the new software and structures, a pack we call Semiomantics Publisher. Again, and may be for the last time, this will be a WordPress based CMS tuned with the most aggressive semantic SEO pack from Semiomantics. It appears that in as much as SEO and publishing power are concerned , we have set new limits for WP based sites during the past 16 months and strong of this experience, we need now to focus on the empathic aspects of our sites [...]

Back-ups: as on ChiHosters we offer serverside back-up fetures to resellers at a minimal cost: as soon as our own site is back up and functional we will put this feature back on offer. 2. As we have reported earlier (Update 4), all automated back-ups have been installed and are running. 3. Further Recovery: We continue to spend hard bucks and time on further recovery. All further recoveries need to be done manually and it takes about 1 hour per user account (pro rates apply), whereas I am aware that some resellers have quite a lot of them. Here is the deal: there are some sites with hardly any content where it s easier to do new set-ups. Let’s not waste time and money on those. Owners must send us a list with usernames (only User names) which they want us to recover: please don’t include accounts with hardly any content as the time needed is the same as for a content rich site, but it’s simply not worth doing it. When clicking on the image the target page opens. A few years ago the rollover effect could only be achieved using JavaScript. The same effect can now be achieved using CSS and namely the pseudo-class :hover. 1. Create your Image The rollover effect can be achieved using two separate small images which alternatively load as a background or by creating one big image containing multiple small images and by shifting the background position. (CSS Sprite). For the purpose of this exercise we will use the CSS Sprite version. The example shows the rollover effect as used on the homepage. For our image we need the normal view as well as the hover view of the ad united on one image created in Photoshop: the image here below is 250 pixels wide and 250 pixels high. All sites which do not show now, are irremediably lost unless the site owner has personal back-ups which could be loaded. The situation is serious and it reminds me of the shock after a Tsunami or after a major Earthquake. First the shock, then the anger and then , … yes, then the brave will get up and rebuild. Rebuild better, safer, differently, but REBUILD! We are all in the same boat and victim of an unfortunately more common event online than many may be aware of. Right now we are dressing a list of damage in order to define priorities. Please comment this article to let us know, which of your URL’s are missing. Please consider that your domains must point to the server using the DNS settings as indicated in Hosting Update 3. At present we are loading accounts with the user names beginning with ‘r’. Later today we expect all acounts to be restored to the level of that back-up.   IMPORTANT Please point your domains’ DNS settings to: ns21.myviphosting.com  ns22.myviphosting.com  ns92.myviphosting.com  ns93.myviphosting.com   Hosting Resellers Please apply the above to all domains you host., however: if you use your own name servers, modify the name servers to: ns1…     38.114.169.92 ns2…     38.114.169.93 If your Nameservers are: ns1.yorgobiz.net and ns2.yorgobiz.net you don’t need to change anything. Your WHM should be back, however the accounts may not be loaded and visible there.   Loss of Data The back-up entails a roll back. The most recent accounts will therefore not be loaded and need to be created again. Login to your Dashboard, go Settings/wp-super-cache: Empty the cache and disable the Supercache then. 2. Go to your Plugin Folder and deactivate: WP_SuperCache and the Woopra Plugin. Make sure you keep the All-in-one-SEO Plugin active as well as Akismet. 3. Disable the plugin FeedWordPress from the Plugins folder. (This does not concern YORGOO blasters). 4. Go to your cPanel and back up your MySQL Database and the Root folder thereafter. We are working with the various Data Centers involved to solve problem issues.
